DRAWN WORKS
Rather than relying exclusively on paper as a drawing surface, raw cotton canvas, and gesso-coated panels of Baltic birch and hardboard are often used for my drawing surface. I like using a hard, flat surface that does not dent easily with the pressure of pencil.
